  1. to live, sell, rent, or anything can be very difficult . they make you go to many places to get everything done. should have one building or several buildings close to each other to get it all done. expect prices be high and people ripping you off.

  2. Itaewon is an area in Seoul where lots of foriegners live. Lots of English speakers there. If you go there, there are some travel agents who can help get you a guide. Or just ask around. You'll find something.

  3. to live in italy with children expect no santa in malls for pictures for christmas, no easter baskets or easter egg hunts for children, or much with halloween. mostly you have to do it at your house . but they have like the old woman in january gives gifts and big candy eggs to give for tradition.

  4. there is hard to find guidance there, even for a map
so be sure you take a travel guide with you, maybe even two ones
also, the schedules in travel guides might be different than what you find on the spot or they might be in renovation, closed etc. So either call them(if you know Spanish) or go EARLY.
I used Frommer's Peru Guide because they give interesting comments

  5. The best way to find media buyers for your Travel Guide is to contact advertising agencies and sell your print ads space to them. You can also try to contact Promotions & Publicity agencies as well.

  6. italy bella to see but has it bad points and needs corrected now. they need get spray paint off the town, more places to use the restroom , more shops open 24 hours for families , and more laws to drive right.

  7. food don’t expect to find so many places with meat balls and spaghetti, mostly ravioli has spinach and ricotta no meat and the pizza expect cut with a butter knife not a steak knife or no pizza sliced at all. you have to ask. sometimes the steaks are not well done unless you ask. they don’t like sauce or meat. ake for ketcup or steak sauce.

  8. try this: http://wikitravel.org/en/New_Zealand
It is not a shiny travel guide, but has a lot of useful info organized in a very convenient way. I like it!

By reading through it, you'll find your own ideas what you want to see and where you want to go… so it is better somehow that you are not required to follow some predefined travel route and someone else's ideas…

    + ad-free!

hope you'll find it useful :-)

  9. very hard to find american food. they have like burger king, mcdonalds, subway, some country places or some food in grocery store. go hard rock cafe if you can. american style all the way if you have trouble embassy is around the corner of the most famous street in rome.

  10. You mean you have "written" a travel guide?…

  11. I have purchased two books, both are filled with top spots to visit, maps of the country and of each section, and both books have huge sections at the end about the Galapagos, with tons of pictures.
"Ecuador, Galapagos Islands" Ulysses Travel Guide
"Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands" Lonely Planet

  12. hospital in italy for people is bad to me in some places. no privacy in emergency rooms, no paper blankets when you need to see gyn , no private room when you have a baby and no shower. and blood and urine test not always done same day. not an earthquake here. and we are not naked stone people to show to everyone.

  13. expect to have no air conditioner very little or none at all. expect be charge for ketchupand plastic bags at grocery, hardly no paper to give away, no soap in some places, no ice sometimes unless you go hard rock cafe. no screens be careful bugs and insects.

  14. expect to take bus, taxi, subway or rent a car to center of rome, they don’t let you park there in the center, they should have places for people to park not just live and work there. italy all over has a lot of history , art, music , and other unique things to see.

  16. first of all try to find tour operators from your origin country(is it UK?) go and ask them to cooperate with you. You have to know very good about history/monuments/roads etc. This is about tour leaders.
If you are a licenced guide you can cooperate with many countries all over the world.Sent your resimate to tour operators that work with outgoing tourism and when they have a guided tour (it is usually 03-04 hours ) they will call you back. a guided city tour 03hours with licenced guide costs about 200euro per 50pax.
    Hope I helped..
